So the socks that I have been making for Danny were meant to be taller, but when I tried it on him for fit after I was done the heel, he loved it as an ankle sock. It is not complete in this pic - I still did 4 rows of ribbing then I bound off. I will post another pic after the set is complete and on the model. : )

I think those socks are gorgeous.
The patern reminds me of a long time ago, when I used to swim laps at the city-pool, in Ansbach, Germany.
It looks like a lot of counting stiches and a lot of work.
I don't know how you do it..?!
